Manual Ordering Made Easier Than Ever With AutoLeap

Effectively ordering any parts you need is a key component for running an effective auto repair business. For the longest time, the industry-standard method for ordering parts was to pick up the phone and call up a local parts distributor, only to find out (after a long wait) that the part you need isn’t in stock.

1. Navigate to the “Services” tab in your repair order (RO)

Once you have a repair order on your app, navigate to the “Services” section where you can add the service item you need. Here is where you’ll add the part type and quantity that you need. 

The quantity you decide right now will help you keep track of the part later in the process.

2. Click on the “Parts Ordering” tab and navigate to “Manual Ordering”

Within the app, you can click on the “+ order” tab for manual ordering. You’ll be greeted with a simple yet detailed menu for your order. 

From this menu, you’ll add the Supplier name from the menu list, along with the part details such as the price, model, payment date, and any additional notes you might need.

Once you add the item that you need—you’ll see the counter on the top right corner of the window update with the relevant items. 

After you confirm the order, click “Save” in the bottom right corner and the order will be added.

3. Mark the order as delivered once it arrives

And that’s it! Once your order arrives, you can mark it as “delivered”.

Returning parts

You have the option to return any orders that aren’t invoiced. Within the services tab, click the three dots on the right of the order name and click “return to supplier”. This is an excellent resource for tracking all your orders and ensuring your catalog isn’t cluttered.
