Acclaimed Auto Repair first started as a passion project. Co-owner Barry Henthorn just needed a place to store his vehicles and work on them. He even considered turning the recently purchased property into a studio.
But then a funny thing happened: customers from the location’s previous shop kept walking through the door! That inspired Barry, his son and fellow co-owner Brandon Henthorn, and fellow co-owner and lead mechanic Casey Dmitriev to launch their own shop for real. They acquired the necessary business licenses and got started.
Fast forward a few years, and Acclaimed now runs an accomplished restoration and repair company. The Washington-based shop works on many custom and exotic vehicles, including popular brands like Corvette and Maserati. It even specializes in turning rotors, a unique service that is hard to find but essential for older vehicles still relying on a standard rotor.
