Exceptional ROI with AutoLeap
AutoLeap has delivered a whopping 1,300% return on investment (ROI) within just one year of use. This impressive statistic was uncovered through an independent study by Hobson & Company, a leading research firm specializing in ROI studies.
Nickoloas and Ryan highlighted AutoLeap, a cloud-based platform that ensures seamless operation and accessibility from anywhere. It has tools for scheduling, customer communication, and appointment management to help shops run more efficiently. The software enhances customer satisfaction and experience, increasing retention and growth.
As Amber said, “We are building, and we’re here to build customer trust, boost profitability, and enhance the lives of customer-owners and their employees. We always want to empower you to achieve a better work-life balance by streamlining your work and authorizing your operations.”
Industry leadership and support
AutoLeap is backed by industry leaders like Rick Wagner, the previous CEO of GM. It also has strong financial support from Bain Capital. This backing allows AutoLeap to stay ahead in the market. Enables rapid growth and continuous innovation, providing top-tier solutions to its users.
The main features of AutoLeap
Nickoloas provided detailed insight into some of AutoLeap’s main features. Ryan shared some of the quotes directly from the customers who benefited from these features.
1. Digital vehicle inspections (DVI)
- Advanced communication: AutoLeap’s DVI feature enhances communication with detailed diagnostics using videos, images, and hand-drawn annotations to show issues clearly.
- Red-yellow-green system: You can mark items red that need immediate attention. Yellow if it’s something that the customer really should consider getting done, but they could get away with waiting a little bit longer. And green if it’s good to go.
- Customizations: You can customize inspection lists and canned notes to your shop’s specific needs to save time and ensure consistency.
Ryan quoted A&A Automotive here, “We are really appreciating the two way communication through the app, so that people can actually see the inspections. The customers really appreciate it, and most of the time we can upsell some maintenance that they need, like suspension brake tires.”
She further mentioned the metrics from that Hobson ROI study. Shops using digital vehicle inspection saw a 50% reduction in time spent communicating with customers while ensuring a 30% increase in revenue. Additionally, she shared how D&S Automotive leveraged the digital vehicle inspection feature and saw their close rate for estimates soar to 90%. Plus, they boosted their sales by 76%.
2. Workflow management
- Workboard: Customizable columns to track every stage of repair orders (ROs).
- Ease of use: Drag-and-drop features and detailed information are available on each card.
- Estimate to invoice process: Digitizes and simplifies creating and managing estimates.
- Parts ordering: Easy integration with vendors for quick parts ordering.
- Automation: Reminders and other automation save time and reduce no-show rates.
Ryan shared a great example of Steve Rodriguez from Steve & Sons. Leveraging AutoLeap’s automation, he slashed his admin time by over 50%. This allowed him to take on more vehicles and increase his capacity. She also shared another example of Mosé from Mosaic Auto. Mosé saw her no-show rate drop to less than 5% because of AutoLeap’s automation.
AutoLeap's features for tire shops
AutoLeap has developed several features specifically to help tire shops. These features address common challenges and improve efficiency. Here are the main features discussed:
1. Quick tire lookup
- Function: Allows viewing tire inventory and ordering from TireHub without creating a Repair Order (RO).
- Benefits: Quick quotes for customers by searching via vehicle details or tire size. This encourages more customers to visit by providing immediate cost visibility.
- Additional features: Filters for speed rating, load index, brand preference, and lead time.
2. Tire storage
- Function: Adds tire storage as a service on the RO.
- Benefits: Efficient tire storage saves time and reduces errors, especially during seasonal tire changes.
- Records: This system tracks tread depth and prints storage stickers for easy identification and management. It is easily searchable by customer or tire storage number, especially useful during busy seasons.
3. DOT Number Compliance
- Function: Adds DOT numbers for sold tires to the service line.
- Benefits: Helps with compliance and customer service, especially during tire recalls.
- Process: Use the item sold report to notify customers quickly. E.g. if their tires are recalled, strengthening customer trust.
Ryan shared that Minit Auto Tirecraft has seen a 45% increase in their average repair order size since implementing AutoLeap. And not only that, but they’ve also earned a standout reputation for their service. And the kicker is our core features. That also helped them eliminate no-shows with our software.
She also shared a quote from Rob’s Garage which is a tire hub dealer. “Switching from the system I was on for 15 years was scary. AutoLeap made the transition easy and seamless. So far, it’s been great and checks all the boxes. The past software did not. I would highly recommend switching to AutoLeap.”
