On the aftermarket technician’s problem-solving advantage
There are many available avenues to train for EVs. Your technicians can go the traditional route and attend local classes after regular business hours. Or they can keep things simple and seek out free resources. YouTube videos from specialized EV technicians still provide a lot of educational value.Â
Alan says your shop’s aftermarket technicians will have an industry advantage regardless of what training they choose. That’s because they already use their problem-solving abilities daily with general repairs for ICE vehicles. That built-in mindset will help them identify similarities in technologies and figure out EV repairs.
