Trends for shop sales
From a sales perspective, shops are trending in a position direction! Over half of survey respondents expected their 2022 sales trends to increase from the year before.
Context is important. The COVID-19 pandemic did affect 2021 sales figures. But this data shows that shops expect growth for their businesses on the horizon.Â
Future industry outlooks
The auto repair industry has a bright future ahead, according to AutoLeap survey data.
Nearly three out of four survey respondents have a favorable or very favorable outlook on the industry over the next five years. Just 12% of respondents indicated they have an unfavorable outlook.Â

- On reasons for optimism: “I think what you are seeing is people are starting to travel again, going back to the office, and using their vehicles more. Therefore, they need to get their vehicles maintained.
