Shops equipped to work on EVs & ADAS
AutoLeap survey data shows that many shops haven’t yet prepared for emerging vehicle technologies.Â
Less than half of surveyed shops were equipped to work on electric vehicles (EVs). For advanced driver-assistance systems, that number drops further. Just over one in three respondents indicated their shop supports ADAS-equipped repairs.Â

Shop preparations for emerging vehicle tech
But what about the shops equipped to work on the latest vehicle technology? How have they prepared?Â
Tech training has been the main focus to date. AutoLeap survey data shows that nearly three out of every four respondents focused on developing skills in this area.Â
EV-specific tools were another popular answer. Over half of the respondents said they upgraded shop equipment as a preparation measure.
