NEW

Capturing Customer Concerns (beta)

Record concerns that bring customers into your shop and associate these concerns with the services that address them

Previously, during the intake of a customer’s vehicle, Service Advisors faced challenges in documenting Customer Concerns in a manner that is directly actionable and visible across the service chain—from technicians working on the vehicle to the customers reviewing what needs to be done. The lack of a structured system to link these Concerns with specific services often leads to miscommunications and missed opportunities in customer service. With this release, Service Advisors now have a new tab on every Repair Order called “Concerns” where they can add multiple Customer Concerns and link those customer concerns to Services on the Repair Order. This feature aims to improve customer trust and satisfaction by making the service process more transparent and easy to understand.

Worldpac speedDIAL Direct Integration (beta)

Connect your Worldpac speedDIAL account to AutoLeap to order parts

Worldpac speedDIAL is one of the most popular parts ordering systems in the industry. To ensure our users have the best possible experience ordering through speedDIAL, we have built a direct integration to enable a seamless transfer of information from your speedDIAL application back into AutoLeap. Begin your parts order from AutoLeap, create your cart in speedDIAL through your typical process, and then send the parts information back to AutoLeap. Assign your parts to services, modify your cart, and easily order your parts. With this integration, you’ll never again have to manually enter your speedDIAL order information into AutoLeap!

IMPROVEMENT

Split Billable and Estimated Hours Across Multiple Technicians

Technician summary by all services report evenly splits hours between all technicians assigned to the service

When using the Technician summary by all services report, it could be confusing to track Estimated and Billable hours when multiple technicians were assigned to the service. Previously, each technician assigned to the service was given credit for the entire amount of Estimated and Billable hours. Now, for all services assigned to more than one technician, the Billable and Estimated hours will be evenly divided between all the assigned technicians. With this update, it’s easy to ensure proper hour allocations are given to every technician at your shop.

Out-the-door Tire Quotes (beta)

Quick Tire Lookup can include add-on services to complete the tire quote

Quickly give customers a tire quote that includes all relevant services. Easily see the total price of all tires plus any services like alignments, mount and balance, or roadside assistance. These improvements give any shop that sells tires exactly what they need for an extremely efficient quote and estimate building process.

Include or Exclude Core Cost from Purchase Orders (beta)

Only include the core cost on the PO if your supplier requires core payment

Prior to this update, all PO totals in AutoLeap were inclusive of core costs. Now, users can set under company settings whether core costs are included by default in the Purchase Order total. For multi-location users, this can be set at the individual location level. Additionally, each PO can have the default setting manually overridden. For example, if your default setting is to exclude core costs because you don’t have to pay for cores from your primary suppliers, when you order from a supplier that does require you to pay for the core, you can easily override the default setting to include the core cost on that specific PO.

User-specific Access to Item Pricing (beta)

Enhanced pricing control to ensure consistent margins

In this update, we’re introducing a new feature to enhance pricing control and optimize your margins. With this setting enabled, admins can designate that only select users will have the authority to adjust default item pricings. This helps implement a unified pricing strategy for your company or store, ensuring consistent margins month to month and store to store (if you are a multi-store company).

Catalog & Inventory Item Activity Logs

Track changes made to Catalog items and view transaction history for all Inventory and RO-specific parts orders

Shop owners, store managers, and parts managers need an accurate record of any changes made to items in the Catalog, and to see a detailed history for all parts ordered. Tracking these details allows you to ensure consistent profit margins, make informed stocking decisions, and speak to the right team members when these activities are not aligning with shop expectations. For catalog items, this information is easily accessible in the new “Activity logs” tab within each Catalog item. Additional information is now also available in the “Activity” tab on the Repair Order.
