IMPROVEMENTS
Activity Logs - Customer Concerns
What’s New
Stay informed with enhanced visibility into customer concerns. Activity logs now capture when concerns are added, updated, or removed on Repair Orders and Appointments, including who made the change and when it occurred. All updates are available in the Activity Log section on the Repair Order page for easier tracking and auditing.
Inventory Stock List - Now Filter by Tags
You can now filter the Inventory → Stock list by Tags. Previously, tag-based filtering was only available in the Inventory Levels Report; this update brings the same capability to the Stock list, so you can quickly narrow your inventory view to the items that matter most.
What’s New
-
A new Tags filter is now available in the Stock list filter bar, alongside Brands, Supplier, Locations, Restock Level, and Type.
-
Select one or more tags to instantly filter the list to matching items. Leave it empty to see all items.
-
The filter behaves just like the one in the Inventory Levels Report and stays applied as you work through your session.
No setup needed – any tags already assigned to your inventory items will appear in the filter automatically.

IMPROVEMENTS
Flat Rate Quantity Updates Now Sync to Canned Services
What’s New
Flat Rate quantity updates now sync to all Canned Services containing that Flat Rate, giving you consistent, accurate line item quantities across your catalog and active Repair Orders.
Canned Services – Catalog
Previously, when item quantities were updated within a Flat Rate from the catalog, those changes were not reflected in the Canned Services containing that Flat Rate. Going forward:
- The updated quantities are immediately reflected in all Canned Services containing that Flat Rate
- No manual re-linking or re-saving of the Canned Service is required
Canned Services – Repair Orders
Previously, when item quantities were updated on a Flat Rate directly on an RO with “Also Update Flat Rate Across Applications” checked, those changes were not synced to the linked Canned Service. Going forward:
- Quantity updates made on an RO will now correctly sync to all Canned Services containing that Flat Rate
- The Canned Service will reflect the latest saved quantities at all times
Vehicle trim is now its own field
Vehicle trim information now has its own dedicated field in AutoLeap, separate from the Model field. This makes it easier to see exactly what vehicle you’re working on at a glance, without any details getting mixed together.
Your existing vehicle records have been automatically updated, trim and model information has been separated into the right fields, so nothing is lost and everything is where you’d expect it.
PartsTech Expired Cart Recovery
AutoLeap now detects expired PartsTech cart sessions and provides a recovery option so users can continue their ordering workflow without manually rebuilding the cart.
What’s New
- AutoLeap now identifies when PartsTech returns a “session not found” response for a previously stored cart session.
-
When an expired or invalid PartsTech session is detected, users see a clear recovery message:
- “Your PartsTech cart has expired.”
- “The cart you were working on is no longer available. AutoLeap can recreate it for you using the items already added.”
-
The message includes:
- Recreate Cart
- Cancel
Activity Logging
Activity logs are now generated for expired-session detection, cart recreation attempts, successful recovery, cancellation, and recovery failure scenarios.
Impact
- Prevents broken ordering flows caused by expired PartsTech sessions
- Reduces manual rework for users
- Preserves existing item data throughout recovery
- Improves reliability across PartsTech ordering entry points
Vehicle Update Activity Logging Improved
What’s New
Vehicle changes are now tracked with a dedicated activity log entry both in the Customer Center and on Repair Orders – giving you a clear, time-stamped audit trail of every update made to a vehicle.
Customer Center – History
Previously, any update to a vehicle (such as adding a VIN or changing the year, make, model, or trim) would overwrite the original vehicle creation log, making it impossible to track what changed or when. Going forward:
- The original vehicle creation log is preserved as-is
- Each subsequent update creates a new log entry with the title Vehicle Updated
- The log captures the full change: From [Previous Vehicle Details] → To [New Vehicle Details]
Repair Orders – Activity Log
Previously, if a vehicle on an RO was updated in-place (rather than removed and re-added), no new activity log entry was created – leaving the original Vehicle Added log as the only record. Going forward:
- In-place vehicle updates on an RO now generate a dedicated log entry
- Entry format: [RO#] Vehicle: [YMMT] [VIN] was updated to [YMMT] [VIN]
- Log includes the username and timestamp of who made the change
Note: The existing behavior for vehicle removal and re-addition remains unchanged — those logs continue to be recorded accurately.
